Go to Settings System Information and see what: Congratz!
You have successfully installed Custom Firmware (CFW) on your PSP.
Downloading and installing the PSP® (Play Station®Portable) system software update will update your PSP® system's operating system to include the latest security patches, settings, features and other items.
One of the things you need to do beforehand is install custom firmware on your PSP. The custom firmware you put in your PSP depends on what firmware you currently have installed. For version 6.60, just go to this page and choose one of the sites: I don't know everything about all the sites and I can't personally vouch for their validity. It could be the humor, the pretty pictures, the degree of unhelpfulness, or anything.
Where these applications could initially be run on the 1.50 firmware PSPs, users who updated wouldn’t be so fortunate.
But the community (read: hackers) did not accept defeat.
An update to the PSP® system software was released on January 15th, 2015.
You can use this update to upgrade your system software to version 6.61 (including 6.60).
