Aggregate Cache Dependency agg Dep = new Aggregate Cache Dependency(); System. The problem I'm having is the following code does not ever invalidate the cache when the data is changed: Aggregate Cache Dependency agg Dep = new Aggregate Cache Dependency(); System.
Cache invalidation is a process in a computer system whereby entries in a cache are replaced or removed.
Cache invalidation can be used to push new content to a client.
This method functions as an alternative to other methods of displaying new content to connected clients.
Hello everyone, I am trying to employ the new functionality behind the Sql Cache Dependency. I have not put anything in web.config except for the connection string in the ownerid) Also, the first way I tried, which would be the preferred way is to used a Stored Procedure instead of the inline SQL.
I do not get any errors and the cache persists, but when I delete or update or insert a record to the table that the dependency is tied to, it does not invalidate the cache.
